University Schools Athletics & Flex Building

1717 65th Avenue, Greeley, CO

Located directly behind University Middle School, the Athletics and Flex Building for University Schools is constructed on a load-bearing spread footing foundation system with a wood frame and cast-in-place concrete building frame system. The masonry building matches the existing middle school and is finished with wood trusses and a green metal roof that coordinates with the adjacent press box at the football field and track.

Roche completed this project using our design-build experience. Design-build is a contractual agreement where the contractor provides both design and construction services. This arrangement allows the owner to have a single point of contact from preconstruction to project close-out. Roche embraces the role of being the project leader, and as a design-build expert, we believe that open communication and teamwork are necessary to successfully complete these types of projects.
