Roche is committed to making a positive difference in the areas that we live and work.

The company regularly supports local events and organizations, and our employees participate in numerous volunteer opportunities each year. In the past five years, Roche has contributed more than $500,000 to hundreds of organizations in Colorado and Nevada.

Programs that are especially close to our heart are the bike program at Madison Elementary School and Salida del Sol Academy in Greeley, Colorado, and the Roche Family Scholarship program in Greeley and Henderson, Nevada.

Bike Program

Launched for the 2017-2018 school year, Roche partnered with Madison Elementary School and Salida del Sol Academy to begin a new incentive program to increase attendance at both schools. As part of the program, Roche agreed to purchase bikes and helmets for students achieving the stipulated attendance goals. Both schools set different standards in terms of allowable tardies and absences.

At the end of the school year, 88 students at Madison Elementary School earned bikes. At Salida del Sol Academy, 9 students received bikes, and 110 students were recognized with “Star Attender” polo shirts, which also were donated by Roche.

We are excitedly waiting for the bike presentation ceremonies in May for the 2018-19 school year recipients!

Roche Family Scholarship Program

For the past 30 years, the Roche family has funded annual scholarships in memory of the family’s father, sister, and brother. The family presents scholarships to students at Greeley West High School in Greeley, Colorado, and Foothill High School in Henderson, Nevada. Each student receives a $1,000 scholarship award for the upcoming academic year.

Volunteering, Sponsorships & Donations

Our employees participate in numerous volunteer opportunities each year. Events and organizations that we regularly support include some of the following:

Habitat for Humanity Greeley Logo

Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Donation

Roche employees in the Greeley office built and stained a 6×9 cedar playhouse that was donated to Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity, which was raffled off.

Elementary Library Renovations

Roche volunteered time and service on four library renovations for elementary schools selected by Target and the Heart of America Foundation. The renovations were made possible through Target’s READesign® Library Makeover Program. The four school libraries that Roche worked on include Park Lane Elementary School in Aurora, Colorado; Fay Herron Elementary School in North Las Vegas, Nevada; Valle Vista Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Whitney Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The renovations included minor repairs and demolition, new carpet and furniture, light installation, interior paint, and a new layout. The goal was to create warm, friendly places that engage children in learning, creating a love of reading. Target also donates 1,000-2,000 new, high-quality library books to each library.

Being Involved

Not only do we provide support and monetary donations to various organizations and events, we also ask our employees to get involved in their communities. This includes participating with local boards including town/city boards, school boards, community outreach programs, etc. It is our motto that to be a GOOD citizen, it is necessary to be an ACTIVE citizen.
