Education, Recreation

Project Description

Constructed on a load-bearing spread footing foundation system with a masonry load-bearing steel joist building frame system, the 9,853-square-foot center is almost triple the size of the training space that the 400+ athletes previously shared. The new building offers a spacious weight room, designated areas for warming up and rehabbing, a med ball wall, indoor/outdoor access via garage doors, offices for strength coaches, and a nutrition station. The building was designed with high ceilings, which was crucial for the tall athletes that were limited in the previous space.

In addition to the building construction, Roche’s scope of work included site development consisting of overlot grading, utilities, landscaping, and storm water system.
