RetailProject Description
Roche was responsible for the construction of an enclosed shopping mall, which included building pad preparation for four major anchor tenants and the construction of 777,000 square feet of specialty retail shops including an expansive food court. Construction of FlatIron Crossing Village included 230,000 square feet of an outdoor town-like retail and entertainment area that surrounds a central courtyard.
Major on-site work for the 174-acre site including mass excavation; installation of utilities including domestic water, sanitary and storm sewers, electrical, and natural gas; landscaping; retaining walls; and the construction of 6,500 parking spaces. Major off-site improvements including over two miles of off-site utility infrastructure, improvements to city and county roads, construction of Coalton Road and FlatIron Parkway, and the construction of new exits on U.S. Highway 36 and 96th Street.
