Project Description

During design, we worked closely with the Corps and Anderson Mason Dale to ensure the project was designed in strict accordance with the Corps’ budget. All of the needs of the end users of the facility were met by allowing them to participate in the programming of the building.

The facility includes space for investigations, an armory, guard-mount and lockers, commander’s suite, and a mobility storage warehouse. In addition, the facility includes training and break rooms, as well as an area set aside for a future emergency control center with ancillary circulation stairways and mechanical, electrical, and communications rooms. The entire project incorporates anti-terrorism elements.

The building is certified LEED Silver under LEED-NC v2009 by scoring 52 points for energy use, lighting, water, and material use and for incorporating a variety of other sustainable strategies.
