Education, ReligiousThe new building for the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Fort Collins was constructed on a load-bearing spread footing foundation system after we over-excavated and reconditioned the sub-base. The building frame system is steel frame/braced joist. The school provides a learning experience in small multi-grade classes, which includes a pre-K class, a K-4th grade class, and a 5-8th grade class. Maximum capacity is 32 students.
The building is home to seven classrooms (three for the school and four for the church), four meeting rooms, conference room, two teaching offices, gymnasium, kitchen, fellowship hall, nursing room, and a worship hall. The fellowship hall is used for school lunch as well as church potlucks or receptions. The worship hall has a seating capacity of 266 for church services.
