Roche Constructors was the low bidder for the replacement of Kendrick Lakes Elementary School in Lakewood, Colorado, for Jeffco Public Schools.
The project will be completed in two phases. The first phase will start in late November and includes the construction of a 59,000-square-foot school and development of the 10-acre site. Phase one will be finished in December 2020. At that point, the students and teachers will move into the new building. Phase two will start in February 2021 and will consist of the demolition of the existing school and the remaining sitework once the demolition is complete. Completion is scheduled for May 31, 2021.
