The Weld County Evidence Storage Addition is a 11,230-square-foot addition to the existing Northern Colorado Regional Forensics Laboratory, which Roche Constructors built in 2013.
Government/JusticeThe addition was constructed on the west end of the existing building. It has a load-bearing spread footing foundation system with a masonry load-bearing/steel joist and engineered metal building frame system. The exterior was finished with structural CMU and CMU veneer.
The space is used to process and store evidence. The building has fully-grouted CMU secure vault with rolling storage shelves, and a storage mezzanine above the vault.
The sitework included an additional parking area, and secure gate-operated drive aisles that were constructed for secure evidence drop off.
