The Natural Grocers on South Broadway was Roche Constructors’ first ground up Natural Grocers project. The store is located south of downtown Denver off South Broadway in the Design District. It sits between commercial developments and residential neighborhoods on a half-acre site.

Project Description
Prior to the start of construction, Roche removed the existing parking lot. The store was built on a load-bearing spread footing foundation system with a structural metal building frame system, and the exterior features Firestone Omega wall panels with brick veneer. A unique feature inside the store is the demonstration kitchen.
In addition to the store, Roche built a 3,562-square-foot, two-story office building on the same site. Roche was also responsible for the site development, which included overlot grading, utilities, parking lot paving, site lighting, landscaping, and a storm water system.
