Located in the Eagle Business Park, the main building of the complex is home to office space and shop, vehicle, and storage space that is accessible by 14 garage door bays. The building is a pre-engineered metal building constructed on a load-bearing spread footing foundation system. The front of the facility is enhanced with a stone wainscot veneer. The office area includes men’s and women’s locker rooms, a conference room, and office areas for staff. The shop space has a bulk oil dispenser system, an auto vehicle lift for maintenance, an exterior wash pad, and an air compressor system for all the vehicle bays. Portions of the shop space are built with block walls.
We also erected an open-air, 3,000-square-foot vehicle storage shed that helps protect exterior trailers and equipment. The complex also features a 3,000-square-foot ClearSpan structure that houses materials such as Ice Slicer, mulch, sand, and gravel as well as liquid storage tanks for mag chloride and other liquids.
The scope of work also included complete site development consisting of overlot grading, utilities, parking lot paving, site lighting, landscaping, and storm water system. Because the soils on this site were highly expansive, the site required a 13-foot over-excavation and recompaction in order to limit the settlement for the building structure.
