Office Administrator


Job Description:

  • Front desk coverage
  • Busy phone
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Incoming and outgoing mail and express
  • Set up all company travel, including occasional after-hours changes
  • Research and negotiate apartment leases for traveling personnel
  • Research travel and subsistence costs
  • Facilities management for multiple locations with possible after-hours requirements
  • Being available after hours
  • Office, maintenance, coffee bar, and vending supplies
  • Vehicle and equipment registrations and renewals
  • Maintain logs, lists, and miscellaneous records
  • Order and set up for some company functions
  • Candidate must be a quick thinker and learner, be diplomatic, have a bright personality, positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent work ethic, and be open to a career in administrative work.


Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college business courses a definite plus
  • Secretarial/administrative background, either education or experience
  • Typing 60+
  • Solid writing, grammar, math, communication, and internet research skills
  • Intermediate MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; Adobe helpful
  • Superior at prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and solving problems
  • Can follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds infrequently
  • Punctual and reliable
