Roche Constructors was awarded the $4.9 million renovation of Joseph P. Martinez Park in the Villa Park subdivision in Denver. This is Roche’s first task order under its on-call construction services contract for large project delivery with the City and County of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
Construction will consist of Phase 1A of the City’s master plan, which includes a renovated playground with new play structures, a sports complex, park amenities, and a new pavilion/amphitheater. There will also be a new memorial plaza, upgraded signage, a cultural playground, multi-sports court, fitness station, and a multi-use lawn area. Roche’s scope includes irrigation, parking, concrete walkways, and landscape improvements. Liveable Cities Studio designed the park improvements.
Construction is underway, and the park is scheduled for completion in October 2025.
