Office Administrator
Job Description:
- Front desk coverage
- Busy phone
- Greet and direct visitors
- Incoming and outgoing mail and express
- Set up all company travel, including occasional after-hours changes
- Research and negotiate apartment leases for traveling personnel
- Research travel and subsistence costs
- Facilities management for multiple locations with possible after-hours requirements
- Being available after hours
- Office, maintenance, coffee bar, and vending supplies
- Vehicle and equipment registrations and renewals
- Maintain logs, lists, and miscellaneous records
- Order and set up for some company functions
- Candidate must be a quick thinker and learner, be diplomatic, have a bright personality, positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent work ethic, and be open to a career in administrative work.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college business courses a definite plus
- Secretarial/administrative background, either education or experience
- Typing 60+
- Solid writing, grammar, math, communication, and internet research skills
- Intermediate MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; Adobe helpful
- Superior at prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and solving problems
- Can follow both verbal and written instructions
- Lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds infrequently
- Punctual and reliable
