The Shops at Ralston Creek was phase one of the Ralston Creek North development, which is part of the Arvada Urban Renewal Authority’s enhancement plan.
RetailProject Description
The project consisted of demolition of the existing site, construction of four retail buildings that included two rooftop walkout patios for entertainment, a water quality pond with an adjacent deck overlooking the pond, and complete site development.
The retail buildings were constructed on a drilled pier/grade beam foundation system after the sub-base was over-excavated and reconditioned. The building frame system is steel frame/braced joist. Roche was only responsible for the core and shell construction.
Site development included improvements to Ralston Road, overlot grading, utilities, parking lot paving, site lighting, landscaping, site retaining walls, and a storm water system.
