Project Description

The scope of work included a complete remodel of the basement and first floor including paint, VCT flooring, carpet, specialty lighting packages, and installation of Target’s signature exterior signage.

Demolition of the existing subfloor was a challenge because there were layers of plywood and Ardex that had to be removed without damaging the original subfloor.

Roche removed the floor in the corner of the store to make room for a new freight/passenger elevator, and concrete in the basement was removed for the new elevator pit. The concrete debris had to be taken up the existing stairs by hand. Roche also installed plumbing in the crawlspace for the Starbucks and CVS Pharmacy.

The lower level is home to the stock room, offices, receiving, and an employee breakroom. The sales area is on the first floor.
