Roche Constructors was the low bidder for the Marshall C. Darnell Elementary School Comprehensive Modernization project for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The $10.8 million project will consist of replacing the HVAC equipment; installing a new EMS/BAS control system; refurbishing six roof-top multizone units; recovering the roof with 80 mil PVC; removing and replacing cast iron plumbing vent pipes, plumbing fixtures, and water heaters; refurbishing the bathrooms; replacing a limited amount of lighting; upgrading all low voltage systems including security CCTV, intrusion detection, and Wi-Fi; removing and replacing doors and hardware; installing new ceilings as required; repainting high traffic areas within the school; and re-caulking the exterior and painting as needed.
Construction will start in November, and final completion is scheduled for January 2025.
