We are excited to announce two new projects for the City of Black Hawk! The City awarded Roche Constructors the Gregory Point Site Improvements and Lace House Rehabilitation projects.
The scope of work for Gregory Point includes the construction of an embellished structure containing a traction elevator at the intersection of Gregory and Cooper Streets. Additional work includes new decorative steel railings, concrete sidewalk demolition and reconstruction, asphalt paving, and repairs to the existing stone retaining walls.
The Lace House is an historic structure located at 410 Gregory Street. Roche will be completing minor structural work, installing a new forced-air heating system and single-person restroom, minor electrical work, and interior finish upgrades. The Lace House will be used as a museum to display furnishings and fixtures used during the mining era of Black Hawk.
Both projects will start in May with completion in August.
