Roche was awarded the CM/GC contract for the Jinya Ramen Bar and Asian Gaming in the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado.
The scope of work includes a 3,900-square-foot renovation of the existing deli/food avenue on the main casino floor. Roche will demolish the existing finishes and equipment to accommodate the new Asian-themed dining and gaming experience. The renovation includes a robust millwork package that will be installed along with upgrades to the existing finishes throughout the project area.
The new restaurant space will include an Asian gaming pit with an elaborate façade screen wall. The screen wall will rest on a built-up base clad with black metal. The façade wall will be comprised of vertical black metal posts that will be laminated between four maple wood members and arrayed around the gaming pit area.
The surrounding casino will remain open to guests during construction. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in February with completion in July.
