Last week, Roche Constructors was awarded QuikTrip #4203, which will be built near the intersection of Huron Street and Thornton Parkway in Thornton, Colorado.
The 4,900-square-foot convenience store will feature five underground fuel tanks that will supply eight pumps covered by a canopy. QuikTrip stores feature a signature kitchen layout that takes up one-third of the store, which allows them to offer food that is hot and ready all hours of the day. Adjacent to the kitchen will be 35 lineal feet of cooler space.
Roche is also responsible for the development of the 9-acre site including site demolition, off-site infrastructure/roadway, traffic light, utilities, parking lot paving, landscaping, and fuel equipment installation. A unique feature of the store’s exterior will be the 18-foot LED QT monument sign that has been redesigned to advertise for food, merchandise, local weather, and fuel prices.
Construction will start in September and be finished in May 2023.
