National Heritage Academies awarded Roche Constructors the new Sky Ranch Academy in Aurora, Colorado. National Heritage Academies is a charter school management company that operates 100+ schools across nine states serving more than 60,000 students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Located in the Sky Ranch community off of I-70 and E-470, the 44,590-square-foot school will house K-8 students.
The scope of work includes construction of the single-story, wood-framed school on a concrete slab-on-grade foundation. Roche is also responsible for an asphalt parking lot, curb and gutters, sidewalks, fire access road, trash pad and enclosure, irrigation system, landscaping, and utility connections. The completed school will be home to traditional classrooms as well as a gymnasium; art, music, and media rooms; and office and work/conference spaces.
Construction will start in August and will be complete by June 2023.
