Roche Constructors was the low bidder for Clark County School District’s $15.5 million Dean Petersen Elementary School Addition and Modernization in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 35,434 square-feet addition will consist of a two-story, 22-classroom, free-standing building. Upgrades in the existing school include replacement of the roof, exhaust fans, HVAC controls and package units, CCTV security system, instruction alarm, LAN, clock and intercom system, fire alarm system, and chiller and boiler along with pumps and controls. The scope of work also includes modifying and upgrading the equipment and telecommunications rooms and installing AV instructional wall upgrades.
Site development includes three new playgrounds, shade structures, asphalt paving replacement and resurfacing, painting, striping, and fencing.
The project will begin in mid-September and will be complete in July 2022.
