Located in the Center Court Village shopping center, this is the second store for Alfalfa’s Market, which is an eco-minded grocer based in Boulder, Colorado. The one-story, 23,983-square-foot plus 3,907-square-foot mezzanine level store was constructed on a drilled pier/grade beam foundation system. The building frame system is structural metal stud and masonry load-bearing steel joist.

Project Description

The exterior of the store is masonry veneer and painted stucco with a glass storefront. The main entry features a curved metal roof with a bowstring truss entry. A unique feature is the double (indoor/outdoor) fireplace at the café area.

The store has a café with service deli, floral department, meat and seafood department, and juice and coffee bar. The mezzanine level is home to a community room with a full kitchen for demonstrations and presentations.
